Whereas the State Government is satisfied that it is necessary so to do, with a view to prevent or check evasion of tax under the Madhya Pradesh Vat Adhiniyam, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002).

Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 57 of the Adhiniyam and in supersession of this department's notification Nos. A-5-4-2000/ST/V (40) and (41), dated 26.06.2003 , the State Government hereby sets up check posts and erects barriers at the places specified in the Schedule below from 1st April, 2006.
