In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002), the State Government, hereby, notifies Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Reliance Industries Limited and Nayara Energy Limited as oil companies for the purpose of the said sub-section.

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from 1st December, 2010.
