In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 4 and sub-section (1), of Section 69 of the Jharkhand Value Added Tax Act 2005 (Jharkhand Act 05, 2006), the Governor of Jharkhand is pleased to appoint the Authorities specified in Column-3 of the Table hereto annexed to exercise and perform the powers and duties respectively conferred and imposed on such Authorities by or under this Act, within the local units of the Area mentioned in corresponding entry in the 4^th Column of the said Table.

The Territorial Jurisdiction of the various Authorities, prescribed by the State Government under sub-section (2) of Section 4 of the Act, and the respective symbols allotted to the circles, are indicated below.

This Notification shall come into force with effect from 1^st April, 2006.
