In exercise of power conferred by sub-section (2) of section 15 the State Government hereby makes following amendment with effect from 1-4-2006 in Schedule-I to the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (No. 2 of 2005) :-

AMENDMENT

In Schedule - to the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (No. 2 of 2005),

For entry No. 16 following shall be substituted :-

"All varieties of cloth including all types of khadi cloth, handloom cloth but excluding hessian cloth."

For entry No. 49 following shall be substituted :-

"Sugar and khandsari excluding mishri, chironji and batasha."

For entry No. 52 following shall be substituted :-

"Tobacco manufactured or un-manufactured, cured or un-cured and tobacco products including cigarettes, cigars, cheroots, bidis and gudakhoo."
