In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Governor of Bihar, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Commercial Taxes Department No. 8/2017- State Tax (Rate), dated 29th June, 2017, published in the Bihar Gazette, Extraordinary, vide S.O. 79, dated the 29th June, 2017, namely:-

In the said notification, the proviso under Paragraph 1 shall be omitted.

2. The exemption contained in the notification No 8/2017- State Tax (Rate), dated the 29th June, 2017 as amended by this notification shall apply to all registered persons till the 30th day of June, 2018.
