In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) and (3] of Rule 138B of the Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 and in supersession of notification no. F.17(131)ACCT/ GST/ 2017/ 126-129 dated April 10th, 2018, I, Alok Gupta, Commissioner of State Tax, Rajasthan, hereby empower Special Commissioner, State Tax, Anti Evasion, Additional Commissioner (Adm.), Anti Evasion and all the Additional Commissioner (Adm.), State Tax to authorize the proper officer to intercept any conveyance to verify the e-way bill in physical or electronic form for all inter-state and intra-State movement of goods in their respective territorial jurisdiction and to carry out the physical verification of intercepted conveyances.
