In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 67 of the Maharashtra Value Added Tax Act, 2002 (Mah. IX of 2005) read with section 21 of the Maharashtra General Clauses Act, 1904 (1 of 1904) the Government of Maharashtra hereby with effect from the 1st July 2017 rescinds the Government Notification, Finance Department, No. VAT. 1514/CR 30/Taxation-1, dated the 23rd May 2014 issued for establishment of the check-post and erection of the barrier in the State and at the border of the State at such places as specified in that notification.
