Whereas, the Commissioner of Commercial Tax, Madhya Pradesh is satisfied that it is necessary so to do with a view to prevent or check evasion of tax under the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002);

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 57 of the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002), the Commissioner, Commercial Tax, hereby sets up temporary check posts and erects barrier at the place as specified in the Schedule below, namely:-

1	Village Chirula, district Datia	On National Highway No. 75 between 9 Kms. from Datia towards Jhansi and 19 Kms. from Jhansi towards Datia near Police Station at Village Chirula.
2	Village Kharai-Padora (Kota Barrier) District Shivpuri.	On National Highway No. 27, Shivpuri to Kota Road, 45 Kms. from Shivpuri towards Kota, where integrated check post is situated.

2. These check posts are being set up from 1st March, 2017 to a period of six months or the appointed day of Goods and Service Tax (GST) whichever is earlier.
