In exercise of the powers conferred by section 17-A of the Odisha Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Odisha Act 4 of 2005), the State Government having been satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, do hereby exempt the sale of Green Gram( Moong) by the Odisha State Co-operative Marketing Federation Limited (MARKFED) to the National Agricultural Co-operative Marketing Federation of India Limited (NAFED) under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) Operation in the State from payment of tax payable under the said Act subject to the condition that NAFED shall give a certificate to MARKFED in the proforma appended herewith about detail purchase of Green Gram( Moong) under PSS Operation and direct that the said notification shall come into force with effect from 1st day of April, 2017.
