In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of t he Puducherry Value Added Tax Act , 2007 (Act No. 9 of 2007) , the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, is pleased to rescind the notification issued in G. O. Ms. No. 139/F2/2009, dated 7th November, 2009 of the Finance Department, Government of Puducherry and published in the Extraordinary Gazette of Puducherry, Part-II, No. 41, dated 7th November, 2009, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of February, 2017.
