In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-

(63). "Works contract" (Omitted w.e.f. 01-07-2017) means a contract for the construction, building, manufacture, processing, fabrication, erection, installation, fitting out, improvement, modification, repair or commissioning of any property;
