In exercise of the powers under clause (c) of section 7 of the Uttar Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2008 (U.P. Act no. 5 of 2008), the Governor is pleased to direct that on the turnover of sale of Sanitary Napkin of "Free days" brand under National Rural Health Mission, no tax shall be levied and paid under the said Act, for a period of one year from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
