In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax (Fifth Amendment) Act, 2013 (Tamil Nadu Act 28 of 2013), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 11th day of November 2013, as the date on which Section 2 of the said Act shall come into force.
