In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Maharashtra Tax Laws (Levy and Amendment) Act, 2013 (Mah. VIII of 2013), the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints the 1st May 2013 to be the date on which the provisions of sections 2 to 13 and section 15 of the said Act, shall come into force.
