In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Kerala Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (30 of 2004) and rule 4 of the Kerala Value Added Tax Rules, 2005, the Governor of Kerala hereby appoint Sri M. K. Kuttikrishnan, District Judge, as the Chairman of the Additional Appellate Tribunal, Palakkad constituted under the said Act and the Rules made thereunder, in addition to his normal duties as member of the Appellate Tribunal constituted under the Kerala General Sales Tax Act, 1963 (15 of 1963).

Explanatory Note

The Governor of Kerala has ordered for appointment of Sri M. K. Kuttikrishnan, District Judge, as the Chairman of the Additional Appellate Tribunal, Palakkad, as provided in rule 4 of the Kerala Value Added Tax Rules, 2005, in addition to his normal duties as member of the Appellate Tribunal constituted under the Kerala General Sales Tax Act, 1963.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
