Whereas, the State Government considers that the following amendments in the Madhya Pradesh Vat Rules, 2006 should be made at once without previous publication in the Gazette.
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 71 of the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002), the State Government, hereby, makes the following further amendments in the Madhya Pradesh Vat Rules, 2006, namely :-
AMENDMENT
In the said rules,-
(1) in rule 54, in sub-rule (1),-
(i) for the figure and word "31st October", the figure and word "15th November" shall be substituted; and
(ii) in proviso, in clause (v), for the figures and word "31st December, 2012", the figures and word "28th February, 2013" shall be substituted;
(2) in rule 64, after sub-rule (7), the following sub-rule shall be inserted, namely:-
"(7A) On an application under sub-rule (7), the certified copy shall be granted as early as possible, ordinarily within seven working days.";
(3) in rule 84-A. sub-rule (2) shall be renumbered as sub-rule (3) and before sub-rule (3) so numbered, the following sub-rule (2) shall be inserted, namely :-
"(2) if the data of a document is transmitted electronically without digital signature, verification of the document shall be submitted in the Form as may be specified by the Commissioner on the web portal."':
(4) in Form 22. in the heading, after the word "Order of Assessment and/or penalty", the words "Order of Assessment and/or penalty under the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002" shall be inserted:
(5) for Form-59, the following Form-59 shall be substituted, namely :-
