In pursuance of the provisions specified in column (2) of S. No. 8 of Schedule - III of the Chhattisgarh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (No. 2 of 2005), the State Government hereby notifies the goods specified in column (2) of Schedule below under the entry, namely,-

(1)	Coal and coke in all its forms, but excluding charcoal, used in generation of energy /power including captive power plant.

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from date of publication in official gazette
