Body NOTIFICATION No. EXN-F(10)-4/2011-Part-I, Dated 31st March, 2012

The Governor of Himachal Pradesh in exercise of the powers vested in her under sub-section (5) of section 3 of the Himachal Pradesh Tax on Entry of Goods into Local Area Act, 2010 (Act No. 9 of 2010) is pleased to make following amendments in Schedule-I & II appended to the said Act, namely:-

AMENDMENTS

1. In Schedule-I, of the aforesaid Act after entry at Sr. No. 52, the following new entry shall be inserted:-

53. Newsprint used for printing of news papers. -

2. In Schedule-II, of aforesaid Act, the entry No. 9 shall be substituted by the following:-

Sr. No.	Goods	Rate of Tax
9	a) Waste material and scraps of all types.	2%
9	b) Non-Ferrous Metal including scrap thereof.	¼%
