in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 4 of Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment, with immediate effect, in Part- B of Schedule IV appended to the said Act, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In Part-B of Schedule IV appended to the said Act, in column number 2 against serial number 63, for the existing expression, "Nitrites and Nitrates", the expression, "Nitrites and Nitrates excluding Ammonium Nitrate having the chemical formula NH4NO3 or any combination containing more than 45 percent of Ammonium Nitrate by weight including emulsions, suspensions, melts or gels (with or without inorganic nitrates)", shall be substituted.
