In exercise of the power conferred by section 16 of the Tripura Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Tripura Act No. 1 of 2005) it is hereby notified for general information of all concerned that the Schedules appended to the Act are amended by the State Government as under:

1. Amendment of Schedule II (a):

(a) The description of goods in entry no. 25 is deleted.

(b) The rate or tax is enhanced from 4% to 5% on the declared goods under entry no. 35.

2. Amendment of Schedule VIII:

The rate of tax is enhanced from 4% to 5% for all items under Schedule VIII.

This will take effect from the date of publication of this Notification in the official gazette.
