In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16 of the Tripura Value Added Tax Act, 2004 ( Tripura Act No. 1 of 2005), it is hereby notified for general information of all concerned that the State Government hereby insert w.e.f. 1st April, 2007 " tobacco including cigarette, cigar, cherrot, smoking mixture for pipe and cigarette, chewing tobacco and snuff" after the words "Scented supari and the like" in SI. No. 129 of the Schedule II(b).
