In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3(A) of the Uttarakhand Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act No. 27 of 2005) read with section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (U.P. Act No. 1 of 1904) (as applicable in the State of Uttarakhand), the Governor is pleased to allow with effect from the date of publication in this notification in the Gazette the following amendments in the previous notification no. 234/2010/294/XXVII(8) /2007 dated 26th February, 2010.

Amendment

For the entry at serial No. 02, of the table specified in the above notification, the following entry shall be substituted, namely-

"In respect of goods other than those included in any of the Schedules to the said Act, excluding cigarette"
