In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 17A of the Orissa Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Orissa Act 4 of 2005), the State Government having been satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest do hereby exempt sale of goods from Central Police Canteens located in the State to the Personnel of Central Para-Military Forces from payment of tax payable under the provisions of the said Act.
