In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule I appended to the said Act, with immediate effect, namely:-

AMENDMENTS

In Schedule I appended to the Act,-

(i) in column number 2 against serial number 59, for the existing expression "Razai " the expression "Razai, Handmade Cotton filled Gadde (Mattresses) and pillow" shall be substituted.

(ii) in column number 2 against serial number 120, for the existing expression "Handmade Woollen Carpet" the expression "All kind of Handmade Carpet" shall be substituted.

(iii) in column number 2 against serial number 125, for the existing expression "Wheat and Rice" the expression "Paddy, Rice, Wheat, Atta of Wheat including fortified atta of Wheat, Maida, Suji and Wheat Bran" shall be substituted.

(iv) in column number 2 against serial number 128, for the existing expression "Tawa, Kadai, Tai, Sigri, Chimta, Imamdasta, Musali, Jhar and Chalani made from iron and steel" the expression "Box, Kothi, Sandook, Peti, Milk Can, Tawa, Kadai, Tai, Sigri, Chimta, Imamdasta, Musali, Jhar, Chalani, chhajla, Saankal (Chain) and Buckets made from iron and steel" shall be substituted

(v) after the existing serial number 130, the following new serial numbers and entries thereto shall be added namely:-
