In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 read with Section 13 of the Jharkhand Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Jharkhand Act 05,2006), the Governor of Jharkhand is pleased to amend the following amendments in the Schedule I and Schedule II Part B of the Act:-

1. In the Schedule I of the Jharkhand Value added Tax Act, 2005, the words "including bed sheets, Towels, Handkerchiefs, blankets, Pillow covers, Napkins, Table cloths and other made-ups stitched of the fabrics or cut piece cloths etc. covered by HSN entry Nos. 63.01, 63.02, 63.03, 63.04, 63.05 and 63.06" in the serial no. 19 shall be deleted.

2. In the Schedule II Part-B of the Jharkhand Value added Tax Act, 2005, the serial no. 14 shall be added in the following manner:-

14. Bed sheets, Towels, Handkerchiefs, blankets, Pillow covers, Napkins, Table cloths and other made-ups stitched of the fabrics or cut piece cloths etc. covered by HSN entry Nos. 63.01, 63.02, 63.03, 63.04, 63.05 and 63.06

3. In the Schedule II Part-B of the Jharkhand Value added Tax Act, 2005, the serial nos. 86D and 100B shall be deleted.

This Notification shall come into force with effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
