In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 4 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule IV appended to the said Act, namely:

AMENDMENT

In Schedule IV appended to the said Act,

(i) In column number 2 of serial number 4, for the existing expression "All kinds of bricks including fly ash bricks, refractory bricks and asphaltic roofing earthen tiles and refractory monolithic", the expression " All kinds of bricks excluding kiln bricks, but including fly ash bricks, refractory bricks and asphaltic roofing earthen tiles and refractory monolithic" shall be substituted.

(ii) In column number 2 of serial number 171, for the existing expression "All kinds of marble, and granite" the expression " All kinds and forms of Kota stone, marble, and granite" shall be substituted.

(iii) the existing serial number 115, 172, 173, 177 and entries thereto shall be deleted.

(iv) In Part B of Schedule IV, the existing serial number 216, 217,220 and entries thereto shall be deleted.

This shall have effect from 01-01-2011
