In exercise of the power conferred by section 114 of the West Bengal Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (West Ben. Act XXXVII of 2003), the Governor is pleased hereby to make, with immediate effect, the following amendment in the notification No. 1494-F.T., dated the 24th September, 2009, published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, PART-I, dated the 24th September, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification):-

Amendment

In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the words, figures and letters "the 1st day of November, 2009, and shall remain in force till the 30th day of June, 2010", substitute the words, figures and letters "the 1st day of November, 2009".
