BIHAR VALUE ADDED TAX Act, 2005 NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 60 of the Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act 27/2005) read with Rule 40 of Bihar Value Added Tax Rules 2005, the Governor of Bihar is pleased to set up check posts to prevent evasion of tax payable under the said Act at the following places :-

(2) No person shall transport goods across or beyond a check post without submitting invoice, Lorry receipt, challan etc. and information pertaining thereto with given declaration form.

(3) This notification shall be effective from the date of start of the Checkposts mentioned in Sl. no. 1, 2 and 3 and for other Checkposts separate notification shall be issued.
