In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (2) of section-14 of the Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act 27 of 2005), the Governor of Bihar is pleased to make the following amendments in schedule I and II appended to the said Act-

AMENDMENTS

(1) After serial no. 80 of schedule I appended to the said Act, a new serial no. shall be added as follows:

"81 Mentha Oil"

(2) After serial no. 6 of schedule II appended to the said Act, a new serial no. shall be added as follows:

"7 Barley (coarse grain), excluding 'Barley' mentioned at serial no. 16 of schedule III."

(3) This notification shall come into force from the date of issue.
