In exercise to the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in public interest so to do, hereby exempts from tax payable by M/s. Premier Brands Pvt. Ltd., the official licensee to Common wealth Games Delhi, 2010, on the sale of Sports item within the State, in the following manner, namely:-

(i) on the mobile van in the queen's Baton Relay convoy: and

(ii) on board the Commonwealth Games Express Train.

This notification shall remain in force upto 31-10-2010.
