Body NOTIFICATION No. FTX.55/2005/Pt/150 Dated 2nd July, 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Assam Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Assam Act VIII of 2005) , the Governor of Assam is hereby pleased to make the following modifications in Notification No. FTX.55/2005/Pt/128 dated 18th May, 2009, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such modification, by making modification in Serial Nos. 19 and 31 of the said Notification, namely:-

19	Assistant Commissioner of Taxes, Superintendent of Taxes and Inspector of Taxes, Bongaigaon Unit	Bongaigaon	The whole area covered by Bongaigaon District and Chirang District except areas under the Basugaon and Sidli Police Stations of Chirang District.
31	Superintendent of Taxes and Inspector of Taxes, Kokrajhar Unit	Kokrajhar	The whole area covered by Kokrajhar District and areas under the Basugaon and Sidli Police Stations of Chirang District.

This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the official Gazette.
