Assam Entry Tax - Notification

Body NOTIFICATION No.FTX.40/2010/4:- Dated 31st May, 2010

In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 3 of the Assam Entry Tax Act, 2008 (Assam Act, XII of 2008), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, the Governor of Assam, in the public interest, hereby pleased to vary the rate of tax of the following specified goods at serial No. 17, 20, 25, 26 and 40 with entries thereto of the schedule to the Principal Act, namely:

17	Fish excluding dry fish.	0
20	Eggs	0
25	All varieties of textiles viz., cotton, woolen or silken, including rayon, art silk and nylon textiles, whether manufactured by handloom, powerloom or otherwise.	2
26	Sugar.	0
40	Tea.	0

This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
