In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 and 5 of the Jammu and Kashmir General Sales Tax Act, 1962, the Government hereby direct that in Schedule "B" to Notification SRO 117 dated 30-03-2001, the words and figure "Goods Chargeable to tax at the rate of 8%" shall be substituted by the words and figure "Goods Chargeable to Tax at the rate of 10%",

This notification shall be come into force w.e.f. 1.4.2010.
