In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 79 of Andhra Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act No.5 of 2005), the Government hereby makes the following amendment to the First Schedule appended to the said Act.

2. The amendment hereby made in clause (a) below shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 23.11.2007 and clause (b) shall come into force with immediate effect.

AMENDMENT

In the said Act in Schedule-I in Sl.No.58:-

(a) for item No.52, the following shall be substituted, namely:

"52. Indian Made Foreign Liquor as defined in the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 with basic price not exceeding Rs.500/- per case of 9 Nos. of 1000ml or 12 Nos. of 750ml/650ml (Beer) or 24 Nos. Of 375ml/330ml (Beer) or 48 Nos. of 180ml or 96 Nos. of 90ml bottles".

Note: For the purpose of this entry basic price means:

Ex-factory price + cost of bottles + cost of packing material + Freight + Insurance + Handling charges and Import Fee, if any.

(b) after item 52, the following items shall be added namely:
