In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 79 of the Andhra Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Andhra Pradesh Act No.5 of 2005), and in supersession of the notifications issued in G.O.Ms.No.1049, Revenue (CT.II) Dep't., dt.6.10.2009, G.O.Ms.No.1225, Revenue (CT.II) Dep't., dt.2.12.2009 and G.O.Ms.No.1230, Revenue (CT.II) Dep't., dt.2.12.2009. the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Schedules-I and IV of the said Act.

2. The amendments hereby made to Entry 45 of the Schedule I shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 7th May, 2009 and to Schedule-IV at 2(i) and 2(ii) below shall be deemed to have come into force on and from the 2nd December, 2009 and the 6th October, 2009, respectively.

AMENDMENTS

In the said Act:-

(1) In Schedule-I, for the entry 45, the following shall be substituted, namely:

"45. Cotton fabrics, Manmade Fabrics, woollen Fabrics, Textile madeups, bed sheets, pillow covers, towels, blankets, travelling rugs, curtains, Zari and embroidery articles."

(2) In Schedule-IV:

(i) In the entry at Sl.No.9 after the words, "Bamboos" the words "Cane (Rattan)" shall be inserted.

(ii) After serial No.123, the following entry, shall be added, namely:

"124. Diesel Power Generators."
