2: Definitions:

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires-

(46) "Tax" means the tax payable under this Act, and includes the amount as lump sum (composition money) accepted in lieu of actual amount of tax due on the turnover as provided under section7 of the Act and amount of reverse input tax credit;
