In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 79 of Andhra Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act No.5 of 2005), the Government hereby makes the following amendment to Sixth Schedule appended to the said Act.

2. The amendment hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on and with effect form 01-03-2009.

AMENDMENTS

In the said Act,

(1) In Schedule - VI, the Entry 6 namely "Tobacco products including Gutkha, Khara Masala, Kimam, Dokta, Zarda, Sukha or Surthi except those specified in Schedule –I and Cigarettes" shall be omitted.
