In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection (4) of Section-3AA of the Bihar Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act No. 27 of 2005) the Governor of Bihar is pleased to exempt the supply of 75 thousand tons of rice and 50 thousand tons of wheat allotted by the Central Government for free distribution among victims of the devastating flood in August, 2008 of the state from the levy of Additional Tax.
