In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Rajasthan Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in Schedule VI appended to the said Act; namely:-

AMENDMENT

In Schedule I appended to the said Act, in column no. 2 against Serial Number 61 the existing expression "Country Liquor Foreign Liquor, Indian made Foreign Liquor and Beer" the expression "Country Liquor" shall be substituted with effect from April 1, 2009.
