MADHYA PRADESH VALUE ADDED TAX ACT, 2002 - NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 70-A of the Madhya Pradesh Vat Act, 2002 (No. 20 of 2002) the State Government, hereby, makes the following further amendments in schedule I and schedule II of the said Act, namely :-

AMENDMENTS

1 In schedule I of the said Act,-

(i) in column (2) against serial number 2, after item number (19), the following item shall be inserted, namely:-

"(20) All kinds of two wheeler/ three wheeler motor vehicles and motor car having engine power upto 1000 cc specially designed and manufactured by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Solely for own use by handicapped person";

(ii) after serial number 58, the follwong serial number and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:-

"58A Cooked food prepared and sold by Self Help Groups, and distributed in anganwadis, or supplied as mid day meal in schools.

2. n schedule II of the said Act, in part - II,-

(i) after serial number 24, the follwong serial number and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:-

"24A.

Floor hygeine powder specifically formulated and manufactured for use in poultry Farms

(ii) after serial number 65A, the follwong serial number and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:-

"65B.

Footwear and chappals made of Plastic /PVC / rubber, sale price (maximum retail price printed on the label) of which does not exceed Ruppes Two hundred and Fifty (other than the goods specified elsewher in this Schedule and Schedule II)
