In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Rajasthan Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts from the payment of tax, the registered dealer, on his turnover of transfer of property in goods (whether as goods or in some other form) involved in the execution of a works contract relating to dyeing, printing and processing of textile, during the period 1.4.2006 to 29.3.2007.
