In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Goa Value Added Tax (Third Amendment) Act, 2008 (Goa Act 12 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the "Said Act" the Government of Goa hereby appoints the 1st day of August, 2008 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
