In exercise of the powers conferred by section 79-A of the Jammu and Kashmir Value Added Tax Act, 2005 and in supersession of Notification SRO 285 dated 7th September, 2006, the Government hereby direct that in notification SRO 91 dated 16th March, 2006 second proviso to para 13 shall be substituted by the following:-

"Provided further that no remission of tax shall be available to Industrial units manufacturing goods specified in Scheduled A to this notification except the Industrial units manufacturing goods specified at entry number 22 of the said Schedule to whom remission of tax to the extent of 8.5% shall be available from 1st of April, 2005 up to 31" of March, 2008"
