In exercise of the power of conferred by section 104 of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben. Act XLIX of 1994), the Governor is pleased hereby to make the following amendments in the West Bengal SalesTax Rules 1995, as subsequently amended (hereinafter referred to as the said rules):-

Amendment

In the said rules, in Chapter V, in rule 35, in sub-rule (1), in the Tables-

(a) in column (2) and column(3) against serial No.3, column (1), insert the following entries respectively :-

The officers of the consulate of the United States of America of Kolkata

Official use ".

(b) In column (2) and column (3) against serial NO.4 in column 1), insert the following entries respectively :-

The Consul General of The United States of America in Kolkata and his consular officers

Personal use ".

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1st day of June,2007
