In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 59 of the Haryana Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (6 of 2003), and with reference to Haryana Government, Excise and Taxation Department, notification No. Web. 6/H.A. 6/2003/S-59/2007, dated the 7th September, 2007, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following amendment in Schedules B and C appended to the said Act, namely :-

Amendment

In the Haryana Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (6 of 2003), --

1. in Schedule B,-

(i) for serial number 28 and entries thereagainst, the following serial number and entries thereagainst shall be substituted, namely:-

"28 Guar, guar flour, guar giri, Guar churi, korma and wheat bran " ;

(ii). after serial number 30 A and entries thereagainst, the following serial number and entries thereagainst shall be inserted, namely:-

"30B. Incense sticks commonly known as agarbati, dhoopkathi or dhoop bati "

(iii). after serial number 38A and entries thereagainst, the following serial number and entries thereagainst shall be inserted, namely:-

"38B. Pesticides, weedicides, insecticides used for plants only " ;

(iv) for serial number 44 and entries thereagainst, the following serial number and entries thereagainst shall be substituted, namely:-

"44. Shoes and chappals with maximum retail price not exceeding Rs. 300/- per pair",

2. in Schedule C,-

(i) serial number 42 and entries thereagainst shall be omitted;

(ii) serial number 67 and entries thereagainst shall be omitted;

(iii) for serial number 98 and entries thereagainst, the following serial number and entries thereagainst shall be substituted, namely:-

"98. Wheat atta including maida and sooji, rice flour, gram flour, besan, barley ghat, barley flour and sattu, dalia of wheat or bareley, rajmah, lobia, rongi, sago (sabudana), soyabean meal, soyabean flour".
