In exercise of the powers conferred by section 31 of the Puducherry Value Added Tax Ordinance, 2007 (No.1 of 2007), and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry being satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the public interest, is pleased to make the following amendment to the notification issued in the G. O. Ms. No. 26/F2/2007, dated 1st July 2007 of the Finance Department, Puducherry, namely:.

In the G. O. Ms. No. 26/F2/2007, dated 1st July 2007, for the existing entry against item No. (b), the following item shall be substituted, namely:.

(b) All kinds of industrial inputs and packing materials sold to industries at 1%".

This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st July 2007.
