In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts from tax leviable in respect of transfer of property in goods involved in the execution of works contract executed within the territory of Special Economic Zone or developers of Special Economic Zone, for period of Seven years and where the Special Economic Zone is established entirely in backward areas specified by the State Government, such exemption shall be available for ten years.
