In exercise of the power conferred by sub-clause (a) of clause (40) of section 2 of the West Bengal Sales Tax Act, 1994 (West Ben. Act XLIX of 1994), the Governor is pleased hereby to make the following amendment in this department notification No. 2992-F.T., dated the 31st day of October, 1995 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification) :-

Amendment

In the said notification, in the first paragraph, under the heading "The sales referred to above",

(1) in serial No. (8), for the words "Haldia Petrochemicals Limited; and", substitute the words "Haldia Petrochemicals Limited;";

(2) after serial No. (9), insert the following serial Nos. and entries relating thereto :-

"(10) Essar Oil Limited;

(11) Oil and Natural Gas Corporation;

(12) Bongaigaon Refinery & Petrochemicals Limited;".

2. This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 1st day of April, 2006.
