In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 79 of the Andhra Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Act No.5 of 2005, the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby make the following amendments to the Schedule I and Schedule IV to the said Act, as mentioned below;

The amendments made below shall come into force with effect from Ist January, 2007.

AMENDMENTS

In the said Act:-

I. In Schedule – I,

After the entry at serial No.51, the following entry shall be added, namely:-

"52. Jaggery"

II.In Schedule – IV:-

the entry at Serial No.30 and the words 'Jaggery' shall be omitted.
