In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 8 of the Rajasthan Value Added Tax Act, 2003 (Act No. 4 of 2003), the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in Schedule-I appended to the said Act, namely :-

AMENDMENT

In Schedule-I appended to the said Act, in column No. 2 against S. No. 10, after the existing entry, the following expression shall be added, namely :-

"Explanation- For the purpose of this entry 'Khadi' means any cloth woven on handloom from yarn handspun in India."
